Carlos Yulo to receive P3.25 million bonus in SEA Games

Carlos Yulo, Filipino gymnast is to receive a total of P3.25 million worth of cash bonus as President Duterte awards incentives for Filipino medalists in the Southeast Asian Games 2019.


As Duterte promised P250,000 for a gold medal, P150,000 for a silver and P100,000 for a bronze medal on top of the incentive system of the Philippine Sports Commission Act (Ra 10699)


On December 14, Saturday the POC announced that it will break down the incentives of gold medalists of team events as well as reward silver and bronze winners in the individual team events.


Yulo was announced as the most bemedalled athlete of the Philippines with 2 golds and 3 silvers.


The Philippines' first world gymnastics champion in men's all around event and his signature floor excercises event and became settled for runner-up in the vault, still rings, pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bars.


Duterte is expected to give out bonus to the SEA Games winners in an awarding ceremony in Malacanang.
