QNHS won the championship against four-member schools In the Cheerdance Competition - Secondary Level At the 38th National Milo Marathon Lucena Leg held on SM grounds on August 31. In addition to losing the championship,QNHS also won the Bronze award as Biggest Delegation and Biggest Company Delagation, as well as the silver award for inter-school running competition.
“We consider participating in these programs and activities aimed at improving the physical and health knowledge and skills of not only the youth but the community, so we thank Milo for encouraging Lucenians to participate in such competitions.” Said Mrs. Conception T. Alcantara, head of the QNHS Mapeh Department.
Meanwhile, nearly 9,000 participated in various categories such as 3k, 5k, 10k, and 21k marathons including QNHS students and staff where 50 runners from the leg entered the qualifying race for the National Finals. With the help of DepEd and the National Milo Runners, Milo’s Help Gives Shoes advocacy is being realized which aims to give 16,000 young people new shoes in commemoration of their 50th year.
