The Department of Education (DepEd) wants to ensure that every Filipino youth has the opportunity to learn through a recently launched strategy framework, calling this program within reach free and high quality education within reach. education will be offered to Filipino Out-of-School Youth (OSY) This is a massive step forward by the DepEd in this regard The level of education in the country can be set. It is also a timely program to increase the literacy rate of Filipino youth.


According to data released by the government recently, OSY has reached 4.2 million nationwide. In this case, it is the goal of the OSY to return to school. The program aims to reach OSY zero percent in the country by 2016. providing adequate education and cultivating OSY's livelihood skills, DepEd believes the program will be more profitable. Launched in 2014, the outreach is a one-year government initiative program in partnership with the National Youth Commission (NYC). Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and other agencies.
